5G is estimated to bring $409 million in revenue for media industry, and is expected to account for 0.2% of the revenue from wireless networks, in 2022, revenue brought by 5G to media industry will increase to $47 billion, and the proportion in wireless will be up to 18.5%.
In media industry, the revenue from 5G networks and 5G devices will take more than 50% in its total wireless revenues till 2025, and it is expected to reach 57%. It is worth to noting that the report expects the global media industry will generate $321 billion in revenue from wireless networks in 2025, 57% of which will be $183 billion.
The revenue generated by 5G for the media industry will increase as time goes by. It is expected that by 2028, 5G will generate $335 billion in revenue for the media industry, and the share of revenue generated by wireless will rise to 79.9%.
