After that, Lennox will purchase VRF, low GWP small split, and multi-split products from the joint venture.

Global Ductless Mini-split Market Size

Growing Demand

In recent years, the latest, energy-efficient ductless mini-split systems have become the most popular alternative to central AC.No ductwork means more efficiency – easy installation with no expense or hassle of installing ductwork.Ductless units are small, compact, and less expensive than central AC.The energy efficiency loss of traditional central air-conditioning systems is as high as 40%, while the energy efficiency loss of ductless units is less than 5%.At the same time, the development of residential construction in China, India, and the United States will increase the market demand for products.

Not a Good Choice for Renters.

Price is a major limiting factor for consumption. Although ductless micro-split systems are cheaper and easier to install than central air throughout the house, they still require qualified technicians and a small investment.

This system combines outdoor condenser components with smaller wall-mounted cooling units (called zones), which means that if you want to use this type of cooling system, you need a certain property base. For those renting a house or apartment, since the installation is intrusive, the detached split system is not a good option for renters, who cannot make a decoration decision without the consent of the landlord.
