Common Mode Choke (CMC), also known as common mode inductor, is an electronic component used to filter out common mode electromagnetic interference. However, when there is a common mode current flowing through the coil, due to the directionality of the common mode current, the coil will exhibit high impedance, resulting in a strong damping effect, attenuating the common mode current, and achieving the purpose of filtering.
